Sturgeon Lake offers some of the best fishing in the area with Walleye (Pickerel), Muskie, Large and Small Mouth Bass and a great variety of pan fish for your pleasure!

We would be happy to arrange fishing packages to suit any of your special needs and requirements.

We are a pet-friendly family location, by scenic Sturgeon Lake in the beautiful Kawarthas, just 2 hours from Toronto, off Hwy #35 North and 10 minutes between Lindsay and Fenelon Falls.

Our reasonably priced and large clean cottages are on the roadway and close to the Lake. Our private waterfront has a shallow sandy beach that is great for swimming and building sand castles and relaxing with Patio Sets and umbrellas. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (dishes, pots & pans, toaster, coffee maker, etc). Our living rooms have sofas, ceiling fan, and colour TV/VCR (one channel) with over 200 movies to borrow for FREE, and also games and books.

There is a 3-piece bathroom (hot/cold water), and cozy bedrooms (including pillows & blankets, please bring sheets and towels.) Each cottage has a side view of the Lake with a propane BBQ on the deck and picnic table and fire pit. There is badminton/volleyball, horseshoes, swings and sandbox. All friendly pets are welcome (dogs on a leash please). Area activities include golf courses, boat cruises, go-carts, shopping, variety of restaurants, bingo, Drive-In or Live Theater, craft and antiques stores, museums, scenic Boat Locks, and Area Nature Trails to walk, bike or hike through. In the summer Months, we a FREE PADDLE BOAT or CANOE to use throughout the week.

There is excellent fishing for Pickerel, Muskie, Bass, Perch and Pan Fish and we have a Fish Hut with freezer. Our Sylvan/Princecraft Boats are 14' Deep-V boats with 9.9 four-stroke Honda motors and rent for cottagers at $55. a day, or $250. a week plus gas, (safety equipment and jackets included). A Boating License is NOT required, but, if you are fishing anywhere, you must have a Fishing License if you are over 18 or under 65 years. If you are bringing a boat we will reserve a dock at the Marina ($60. week/or $10. Night) across the street at their docks on the lake with free in/out and concrete launch.
